Connecticut River Museum
A museum and waterfront wedding! Say no more. The Connecticut River Museum has a lot of versatility, with options for an outdoor, indoor, or a tented wedding ceremony and reception. The museum is located in Essex, so you could schedule your wedding portraits on one of the nearby beaches near Old Saybrook. Just an added bonus in my opinion.

Stony Creek Brewery
Located pretty much where the Branford river meets Long Island sounds is Stony Creek Brewery. Although not primarily a wedding venue, it’s awesome for one, especially for beer enthusiasts! The upper level of the brewery is dedicated for events and can easily host well over 100 guests. You’ll also be super close to Branford point if you want to sneak out during sunset for your wedding portraits!
